Sound Deadening Layer:
The base layer of Dodo Mat DEADN DUO features 1.5mm of high-quality butyl rubber. This dense vibrodamping material reduces panel resonance and blocks airborne noise, delivering superior vibration damping compared with cheaper mats that use heavy mineral fillers. Applied directly to vehicle metalwork, it immediately reduces rattles, structural noise and unwanted vibrations.
 
Insulation Layer:
Bonded to the butyl base is a 3mm closed cell foam layer of Dodo Super Liner. This thermo-acoustic insulation provides excellent noise absorption while acting as a thermal barrier to stabilise cabin temperatures year-round. The closed cell design helps prevent condensation build-up, making it an ideal choice for campervan floors, doors, side panels and load spaces.
 
Convenience:
For easier installation, Dodo Mat DEADN DUO is supplied as a single continuous 5m roll (50cm wide), making it perfect for covering large, flat areas such as van floors or car boots. Its soft, flexible design requires no heating and is easy to cut and fit, even on complex surfaces.
